The grimoire

Clairvoyance encyclopedia

The image arrives. Interpretation still takes work.

A modern field guide to intuitive imagery, dream language, symbolic flashes, eye scrying, verification, and the humility good discernment requires.

When the path tangles, find the thread.

Ways intuitive sight may present

Symbolic flash

A brief image—a key, bridge, animal, color, room, or weather pattern—that needs context before meaning.

Inner scene

A more developed visual sequence that may behave like memory, imagination, or dream.

Dream image

A symbol that repeats across sleep and waking attention, often carrying personal as well as traditional associations.

Scrying impression

Images or shifts perceived while focusing on water, reflective eyes, or another approved surface.

Visual metaphor

An intuitive image that describes a dynamic rather than predicting a literal event.

Pattern recognition

A fast synthesis of subtle cues and experience. It can be useful without being infallible.

A disciplined interpretation loop

  • Describe the image before assigning meaning
  • Ask what is personal, cultural, or contextual
  • Check whether the reading invites a testable question
  • Name uncertainty instead of decorating it
  • Never use an image to overrule consent, evidence, or professional care

Consent in eye scrying

I began scrying at seventeen and often used a client’s eyes as the reflective focus. Today, eye scrying is offered only with explicit consent. It can be stopped or replaced with another method at any time.
